The home is very clean and we were happy that we had a choice of a shared room or private. For my mom the private room was best. Her room is well decorated with her own TV as well as Direct TV which is great. Mom can watch tv in her room or in the main room.

My husband and I moved his 96 year old Grandma to Apple Blossom in April of this year. Although she was only a resident for 3 short months, it was the best care she had ever been given. The owners are a husband and wife duo, they are compassionate, and loving.

I am Martin Mckee and started mental health nursing in 1994 through Queens University, Belfast. I started my career working as a nurse in St. Lukes Hospital in Armagh. I moved to the Independent sector in 1998, working as a charge nurse for 10 years. I came to Apple Blossom Lodge in 2012, as a staff nurse and then became Home Manager in July 2018. Since then I have not looked back, enjoying every day in my new role.
There are also dozens of pharmacies within one mile of the community. Apple Blossom Home is locally owned and operated by a Registered Nurse and Firefighter Paramedic. Together we bring safety and security along with loving and compassionate caregivers to provides twenty - four hour care and services to our senior residents.

We had trouble finding a care home suitable for him but he just loves living at Apple Blossom Lodge. The friendly staff have created a really homely atmosphere which makes us feel reassured about our dad’s care. We have a team of highly trained professionals whose mission is to ensure all our residents are respected as individuals and treated with dignity and privacy. We try to give our residents as much independence as possible and encourage them to enjoy life to the full. We offer child care programs for different age groups to enhance children’s growth and learning.
Apple Blossom Lodge provides patient-centred care for people with enduring mental ill health and dementia conditions. The staff team is complimented by an experienced Occupational Therapist, developing individual programmes of social skills which are tailored to meet the needs of each resident. Alongside this, there is also a highly motivated activity therapist delivering an active programme to suit the male client group. Apple Blossom Lodge allows the residents to live their lives to the best they can, in a countryside setting creating an atmosphere of retreat, serenity and inner peace.
Been here 3 1/2 years and lost my husband year ago. The staff has been very helpful to me in time of grieving. Our activities have been great in helping all of us to pass our time and to keep busy. I love to help the staff out when needed, and helping residents. The staff member at Apple Blossom was great and gave us a tour of one of the cottage style homes. The cottages were brand new and clean.
I went to Apple Blossom, and the staff let me come in and I put on a mask. It was an in-person visit, and it was a very good experience. They're very friendly and very accommodating. They're still following the rules of no visitation into these extended care facilities so I just decided not to do anything at this time.
We offer child care subsidies to families in need to help their children’s overall development. It was very clean, it was simple, it wasn't glitzy at all, it was easy to get around, and that's what I liked about it. I toured with the executive director, and she was very nice and informative.
The care they show for their facility and their residents is something you wish you could see everywhere. Jay the owner is a RN with a medical background In ER medicine and didn’t miss a beat with Grandma’s medical care. The care team is amazing and take care of all the residents with love and understanding. Momma Nancy is always concerned for each residents every need and desire. There are no words that can describe how grateful our family is for the level of care she was given.
The owners are very family oriented and encourage family time. We were able to celebrate mom’s birthday with a party and all the residents were included.
